No data collected

NYC Parking does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information. The app has no accounts, analytics, or advertising.

Location

Your device's location is used only on your device, to center the map on you and to follow you in drive mode. It is never stored or shared.

Your parked car

When you mark where you parked, that spot is saved only on your device so it's there the next time you open the app. Move-by reminders are scheduled as local notifications on your device.

Network requests

Parking rules for every block are built into the app from NYC Open Data, so looking up a block never leaves your device. The app downloads the official alternate-side parking holiday calendar from NYC DOT, and map tiles come from Apple Maps, subject to Apple's privacy policy. No intermediary server is involved.

This website

This site uses no cookies or analytics. The map loads tiles from OpenFreeMap and its mapping library from jsDelivr. If you tap the locate button, your browser asks permission and your location is used only in your browser to center the map.
